“It’s Still the Cross” is more than just a recording of gospel music, it is a glimpse at the passion that God has given me for true relationship with Him. The cross is the means by which we enter that relationship. “…no one comes to the Father, but by Him (Jesus).” John 14:6. I spent 35 years striving to be worthy of a relationship with God, striving to overcome depression, addiction and a negative identity by religious performance. At the cross, I found forgiveness, hope, power over sin and a new identity as a child of the Father. I found LIFE! I pray that this recording will communicate life to you and allow you to celebrate that life. Since our children are a gift of life to us from our Father, it has been very rewarding to work with my daughter Hannah on this project.
